I like it...which is prolly why I have it:shhh::p . BTW, it's also called "Rudora" & "Rodora"......incase you ever have to do a search for it. It's a nice, clean kit though...pretty rare as well. Also, the front fits without removing the safety bumper which is a major plus.

I also have the Rdora, Rudora, Rtype, whatever you call it kit :) Good purchase I might say. I'm not a body kit guy in general but my car had some damage done to it and I needed something to put on and the Rdora was subtly enough and fit in with the design of the car to be a fan of mine. Good luck with it, let us know how the install goes!

Also, why would you mix and match? personally the rdora sideskirts look good. BTW, If you order from www.Grounddynamics.com they have a VERY good discounted price on the kit compared to most places. I think the full kit runs around $490 through them. I can also get it at $400 + shipping through a guy I know that does group buys from a various site. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested I will get you his email.

Thanks,

Wow, I actually like how that kit looks (even though it's not for my car.) I usually don't like body kits but if I had the right year, I'd contemplate purchasing that. It's better than that one kit that looked like a seat in front :D.

Ya, my fton bumper is perfect but some of the rivets on one side are gone. and been ripped off, i think the guy before me who owned it hit a racoon or something cause its hurtin just on that side:( i like my stockkit, but the Rodora is sweet. its not all tech up like the blitz as some one said.:D not downin the blitz. just not my fav.

PERFORMANCE IS KING HERE - asking questions about body kits and loud blow off valves will give the impression that you're not here for performance. This site was built to encourage modifying DSMs to go faster, not look or sound faster. Though we have a forum available for these types of non-performance questions, we ask that you make an effort to keep your questions and discussions performance related. If you're not here to learn how to make your DSM perform better, we ask that you consider using other forums better suited to your needs.

Straight from the man himself, Ludachris.

not that I'm arguing in anyway. but uhh this IS the non-performance(interior/EXTERIOR) forum. it was just a question to see what people thought of the kit. I kno body kits dont dish out HP's, neither do stickers. unless they are the NOS stickers...:p just messin. anywho. i apologise if i did somethign wrong, but this was the correct forum i do believe for this question. I could understand the point if you kno...this was maybe, the performance forum. But hey. im Crazy.....really....hehehehee:laugh:        ...heeehee

Nutshot -
That's odd. I have a 20g with all of the supporting mods that puts out a decent amount of power I must say. 95% of my posts on most forums are performance related and I am CONSTANTLY spending hours and hours a day researching and reading up on theories and parts for the engine I am currently building. To me what you are saying is interpreted as; Since I am in the Interior/Exterior portion of the board I need to speak performance. How should I have worded my previous statements?

a) "Good purchase I might say. I'm not a body kit guy in general but my car had some damage done to it and I needed something to put on and the Rdora was subtle enough and fit in with the design of the car to be a fan of mine." <--- the way I did mention

or

b) "Good purchase I might say. Now what kind of trap speeds are you expecting now that you are getting a new kit? That should amount for atleast 30-40hp at the wheels! Absolutely cannot wait until you dyno!" <----- In a manner where "performance" is stressed.

If you took part in the construction of this forum it is top notch I must say, compliments to all. But, how on Earth do you expect to put up an Interior/exterior forum and expect "performance" to be discussed? That is just ignorant.

Everyone was a newbie at once and everyone has their own personal likes/dislikes. The reason I became a DSM member of the community in 1997 was because if you were interested in the world of DSMs you were not put down and discouraged like that of some other car groupies. Unfortunately after a year of not visiting the boards I come back to notice there are quite a few owners out there that think they were just born with their vast knowledge of DSMs and never once had a beginner question.

I cannot believe the things I've seen the last few weeks visiting all of the major boards. How rude DSMers are to the newbies, how rude everyone is to someone that doesn't share the exact same passions with their cars etc. Back in the day did stock appearing V8 owners make fun of the monster hotrods because they wanted to put flames on the side? in general, no. To each their own. Lts_fly7 followed the forum rules and posted in the correct section of the board, now why must you come in here and harass him?

BTW - what, if anything, has this poster said that violated the terms of the interior/exterior related forum? I must be a little foggy on the terms then, I will discontinue to post any of my knowledge on this forum in the future. I would not want to get flamed for doing what I would think of as posting in a tasteful manner.

My .02

Sorry for the length and anyone that read through the entirety thank you.

-Tom

PS. This is not meant as a smartass response, but as merely a suggestion that if all that this board is about is performance then please remove the non performance related forums from the board, that would only be common sense.

BTW thank you to the countless owners out there that help our newbies learn and help eachother with countless questions from beginner to advanced and from non-performance to performance related. You are what makes the DSM community special!

IMO***

i dont like it, seems like they went and stole a sotck smiley front and put some fiberglass on it. now the sides i do like them. (if you understand what im saying):dsm:

very well said boosted dsm...
remember not everybody that posts here is all about performance...and if performane is king here, then why even have a non-performance forum, a hangout forum and so on:confused:

Thank you Megaman!

Especially when the descriptions of the Interior/exterior forum reads like this:

"All discussions that aren't performance related; body kits, conversions, lighting, alarms, car audio, etc."

All things that aren't performance related? WOW! Who would have thought?

Tom
