What are good guages with nice lighting?

well soon i will be getting a guage pod pillar and a boost and air/fuel ratio guage.

i was thinking of getting autometer Ultra-Lite's. Are they good in light and everything? I want to see these guages at night...

look for auto metors cobalt gauges i have them and they are real nice black face blue number and red neddle then it's a reverse indaglo at night theay are reall nice

i like my autometer phantom gauges. i changed out the bulb to a bright blue LED and they are plenty bright. they also aren't that expensive and i think they look really good.

Off topic n00b question, I appologize...

But do you really need a Air/Fuel Gauge if you have an AFC? Wont the AFC give you digital readouts? I've never used an AFC before. I'm getting Apexi gauges like krazykorean but I'm having trouble on deciding what type of gauges I actually need.

I'll try to contribute back to the main topic.

I've been looking at gauges for a while, I've seen alot of night shots and it's my opinion that the Apexi gauges look the nicest. Its a very nice soothing blue, meaning it won't blind your ass when the sun goes down

Kinda depends what kind of lighting you are looking for though, I dont think Apexi has anything with the reverse indiglo look, if you want that I'd look toward greddy, or autometer for affordability.

A afc does not show you the air fuel ratio at all...and for gauges I would atleast get a boost gauge and a egt..but for me I have Boost, Egt, Oil Pressure and Water Temp...but thats just me...also if you lok in the gallery there alot of people with Autometer gauges at night..
