The 90 Talon I bought has soundstream 5.3 component speakers up front, and my mustang that im parting out has infinity kappa perfect 6.1 components in it. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to swap out the soundstreams for the perfects, or not? I know the perfects have a larger cone woofer than the soundstreams do, but i'm not sure if this is any better because i've never heard of soundstream speakers before.

Thanks

Soundstream is a pretty respectable name. Personally, I would rather have the 6" mid. Test them both out and just stick with whatever sounds best to you.

Ive used Kenwood speakers throughout my cars for years and never once had any problems with them.

The soundquality is great and they can take a beating with high wattage. I did however use soundstream amps in my iroc back in the day and wasnt to pleased with there power. In fact i havent even heard the name soundstream in years, they're still around?

6x9's suck regardless.

thanks for the replies though, I'm gonna try out the bigger mids in the perfects before making a choice.
