Be respectful with your posts. Im not offended and it doesnt bother me but Im worried some one else may be. Please edit your post. No need for stuff like that.

okay ill have a regular mechanic see if he can find a place to put it. but i doubt it will fit. i was kind of hoping somebody had a non a?c solution

As a Denverite, nothing beats AC for dry air. It seems to work really well.

DSM used AC. It's super-effective!

This summer is going to be crazy hot, I'm also in Vegas, I don't remember it ever getting this hot soo early in the year.

Go to a pick a part or look on the classifieds find all the ac components you are missing and take it to get recharged.

Also if your windows don't work find out if its mechanical or electrical. Fix them. Or you will probably end up having a heat stroke this summer. Lol

What exactly is preventing you from have AC? Could you take a picture of your bay for us? Also-Do you still have the blower? While the air might not be ICE cold, it at least will keep the air moving for you in the cab.

thats what i keep hearing... how r-12 is banned and illegal... but shops still use them???.. plus the a/c mechanic said that it would put less stress on the a/c sys...

Get the darkest tint you can get away with. Leave your windows down as much as possible. Close your hvac vents. Try to park in shade as much as possible. Wear shorts and flip flops. I live in El Paso, a/c is deleted, my interior is striped to bare metal mostly so the car is like an oven. Summer time is bearable.

The AC quit on my wife's 90 Eagle Talon, she runs the fan on high and slightly opens both windows. Sorry you cannot get your windows down a tad, but you could open your back hatch a tad with a tie-down to get the heat flowing past you and out the back. Temporary till you get the parts and leak fixed! She is driving my car now that the heat got over 80; how you are doing it in 100. WOW!
