i have a set of headlights sitting in my garage that are on the hazy side. im wondering what type of products are out there, or what the process is to get them looking like new again. i've got my 97 front end conversion all ready except i dont want to do it yet because of the damned haziness. so any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

search will give u a lot more answers.......

i used mother's mag & aluminum polish and that worked really well. i hav ealso heard of using 2000 grit sandpaper and then going over it with mothers, but i havent tried that yet.

cool, i'll give that a try. thanks jay.

Dude dont mess with sand paper on them. Get 3M Plastic compound, FOCKIN BEST!

It amazed me every time I used it. It does its justice on lights with out a doubt. Its just like liquid compound. Fockin rocks.

I started with 1000 grit, then 1500, then 2000, then rubbing compound with a buffer, then mothers swirl mark remover. Mine were yellow though like water stains and now they are completly clear. Helps if they are off the car but you can do it on the car.
