I am looking at running a small battery like the PC680. But I like my bass, currently running a single 12" 175 Watt RMS, 500 watt peak with a 500 watt peak, 220 watt Kicker Amp. Just wondering if something as mild as my setup would play nice with a small battery.

If it will not, I think I may just drop the regular sized battery down on the frame rail and build a custom bracket.

Hm. I would think you'd be fine. Once the car is running the power comes from the alternator anyway, not the battery. I don't really know a whole lot about the different batteries and their output, but if you aren't trying to run the system with the car not running I don't see why it would be a problem. especially if you've already been running the system on a stock battery and alt.

I would think that you would be fine, maybe invest in a capacitor and the Saturn alt upgrade to make sure voltage stays where it should. I wouldn't go trying to win an spl competition lr anything though LOL.

IIRC, he's got a Saturn alt already.

Personally I don't see why not. Unless you make a habit of listening to the stereo without the engine running you should be fine. I'm considering doing it in my Talon too.
I need a little bit of bass for music to sound good.
