I was bored so I debaged the rear of the talon

Well not all the way.

You can't really get the "Talon" letters off of the center section but I did take off the "Eagle symbol" and "Eagle" letters off the left side of the rear bumber and the "TSI AWD" off of the left side. I think it looks much cleaner and now you can't tell it's a turbo from the back of the car.

Lets see some pictures. I saw a black talon this weekend with the "talon" letters removed from the tail lights. I want to remove the lettering and paint the inside of the lights red so its solid. O yea I just bought this 2g this weekend. 95 fwd turbo with 40 miles on the engine. Its blue, I love it.

How'd you do that? Mine are moulded into the urethane of the bumper...I would have to sand them down in order to accomplish that....wouldn't I?

You think that buy looking at them but they are really just stickers. Once you you start to pry off a corner they come up. Each letter is indivdually stuck to the bumper.


Pete: I have my Propane kit 3/4 of the way installed. once it's installed and I have tuned for 20-23psi. Then I will get some dyno pulls and go to the track like you did. I just need a helmet.

Your car must have been painted, that's why you can't see it as a stiker .

My friend with 95 TSi wanted to take them off , but when he did , he had this ugly outline of the letters from the paint step .

After a couple washes you can't even tell the outling unless your like 6 inches from it.

Yeah I was about to remove all my badging on my rear talon bumper..but then a Bullet decided to do it for me... Hence the rear conversion..then front....

Yeah need to see some pics yo...oh wait you live like 1 Block from me I will just call ya...

Also I can't remeber where I saw it but you can buy a smooth out rear middle piece where the license plate goes and just get it painted..let me look for it and I will send you a link..

The "TALON" Letters are molded into the center section and cannot be removed.

You can always take a dremel and shave it down..and paint it black..or what ever color you want to paint..I still have my talon mid piece... I might let you do it on to see how it looks..

I have debadged mine also. For some reason it never had badges on the rear bumper, only on the sids. If you get close you can see the 16V... blah, blah on the side, buy VERY faintly.
