ohman, i think it would be awesome if someone made a lancer evo VII hood for 2nd gen eclipses, since our cars are pretty common Im sure someone has done it, if not can someone photoshop it?, cuz im dumb and dont know how. thanks (oh and prob wouldnt look right with the bump in the stock hood)

I'm making one for the 1gens(actually modifying the OEM hood), if all goes well with it, I might make a few 2gen hoods for people, my design eliminates the bump though entirely

Or just don't worry about the rain. Don't let it drain onto the alternator or the like, and don't build it like the Fieros that'd freeze the drive belts in the cold.

A friend of mine has a custom made hood with vents similar on his RS. He gets these plexy glass pieces with sticky stuff around the edges and sticks it under the vents so it blocks off rain and/or snow.

i posted this a long time ago and no one seemed to care

i was wanting to just cut big ass vents in my stock hood and put a couple there a la evo vii, but no one really replied.

someone vfaq this! and where are some decent vents to buy? ebay has crap

I dont have any pictures just know for lack of film, but if you look at my post about 1g vented hood you'll see my sketch and a picture of the Evo type hood on a Galant(I think)
