OK I am putting this thread up of what you guys think.. When you get huge wings.. that serve no purpose...Neon lights that just look bad..Body kits that aren't painted...Decals that serve no purpose, also when you don't even have the products on the car..And everything else..

This thread is no bashing but wondering WTF people are thinking when they do these shotty things... Especially when its not even donely cleanly or even right... I really want to know....

Also please don't sit there and go KrazyKorean your car is ghey... i am making this thread so I can see whats going on...

Alright lets here it.. the pros and cons of these stupid modifications..

im bored so i guess ill respond not everyone is into performance as they should be... to me neon might look kinda cool... meaby but it only adds weight and is illegal most places. wings serve some purpose but often dont do anything at the speeds the cars go at, if i lived near a wind tunnly i would have my car in there right now so i could see if the wing i have does anything, and what i should do.... decals are ok, as long as you have the product, unpainted body kits are because people done have money to paint them

yeah I understand that people can't aford to paint them.. So why do they decide to make there car Fugly having a 2 different color car.. Actually some kits are blue, grey and white.. WTF why do people do this its o gross..

Actually some kits that are blue grey and white are the diffrent base Primers the companies use, Sometimes when u have 1 car and ur workin on it, it takes up to a month (if ur busy) to install a kit and have it all molded and done 100% right. I kno tons of people who drive around with their kits not painted cuz the body work isnt done. Thats just my 2 cents and why most people drive around with unpainted kits.

well i had my graphics for a long ass time. my car has had all the bodykit and wing stuff on before the movie came out. i did the graphics along with two friends b/c we were all in the same club. as many of you know, those are now off and most of the car will look different. and i know my car is not fast, nor do i race it. i have a bike and that is my "rice rocket" not my car. krazy, your car is damn nice and i give you props!!! keep up the work and keep us posted.

Thanks man I appreciate it... Black9d I know that its different color primer... But why can't people just wait when they can have there car painted or molded.. when the time comes and bring the kit to them.. I see kids and in generally put it on themeselves.. now damn thats ghettoe shizznit...

I'm not a fan of it. When i was younger I was a ricer, but at least I can admit it. People go through stages, and everything is going to change with the times.

YOU'RE OFF MY BUDDYLIST!!! j/k yeah i agree with john, people go through stages. at first i didn't know anything, then i knew stuff, now i know too much stuff, and in a few months, i'll have to learn more stuff. turbo stuff!!!! well, by the end of the year that is. damn gov't owns me soon i don't have much time. but don't worry, it's like i said, my car will look totally different in about 2-3 days and then good ole hahn will be on my side eventually. yes, i rule!!!

you got my side of it. another thing, i think they are so excited they got something new, they don't want to take it off. i saw a 2g n/t last weekend at the movies. unpainted predator hood(white) and my old front primered(grey). so let's put the puzzle together:

car: black
hood: white
front: grey

so he's lucky pretty fugly at the moment. and even if he did have the hood and front painted, he's rollin on stock 14's and it's not lowered. one step at a time, one step at a time please!!!

I can understand stuff not being painted and such but I also understand where krazykorean's coming from. I just don't understand how these people think that some of the insanely crazy stuff that they slap on their car looks good. Is their sense of taste really that fu(ked???? (example: the white civic at my school that has shiny green windshield wipers with a 16" aluminum spoiler, and stock 14" wheels without the wheel covers)

the thing that really gets me is when i see a car with a bodykit on stock rims. rims before kit!!! the only time i'd have my stock rims, being only 2 of them, would be when i am getting a tire mounted and balanced on my 18's. now that i sold my 14's, i have to bum a ride to the shop or pay an extra 10 bucks for them to take off the wheel and put it back on. i'm not lazy nor cheap, but money is tight. that's $10 of gas i could have.

I know people with body kits on cars in primer and different color fiberglass. They do it because they want the look of highly modified car and they don't have enough money to do it all the way and perfect. Not many people will just wait until it can be perfect especially if it is a daily driver that goes through rain, sleet, snow and all that sh!t. Why put $3,000 wheels and a $7,000 paint job on a car that gets parked next to rust buckets and hits potholes and will be driven in the snow, but people will still want to kind of have the tuner look or feel to some degree or phase. Yeah it is tacky, but if yours looks better......you don't care do you? You can't stop them from doing it. Everybody is not a hardcore tuner, racer or showcar builder ya know? Most people only want the damn looks a showcar gets with some wanting the actual speed, but no talent or ability to build that kind of car or money. It is really as simple as that. Also your style is different than all the world around you and you won't always find universal style acceptance everywhere. Personally I don't think it is of any worth to want to know why other people do what they do. You can't figure all people out. Why are some people ghey....(yuckkkk!), but hey there are lesbians and homosexuals everywhere. To each his own.......just do what you like to do.

Wings are super cheap especially Aluminum ones and the movie with the green DSM made it more popular to non-enthusiasts everywhere. Graphics are cheap too. Decals are for free.

Some people just have bad style.
Some people are poor as hell and have bad style
Some people don't know better
Some people copy off of what they see in their neighborhoods.
Some people like a fuc%$ed up car because one day it is going to be a stunner
Some people don't care what you think
Some people have never seen the light etc..........

Some people think Neon never looks bad
Some people think wings that serve no purpose look good
Some people never learned what shotty ever meant
Some People never learned what a clean car looks like or ever saw one that they knew of.
Certain RARE decals and stickers actually do give you 500whp.

A lot of people are poor and can't afford the expensive stuff to make a car clean or done right and they are going through phases and also some will never have the ability, talent, or cash to make a Clean worldclass car. Some don't have your same definition of what a good car or clean car is (different styles in different areas), Some I feel for because I know money is tight $$$$ They want a car Exactly like the ones in IMPORT TUNER, SUPER STREET, PERFORMANCE AUTO & SOUND, HONDA TUNING, SPORT COMPACT CAR, LOWRIDEREURO, EUROTUNER, NOPI SPORT COMPACT ect., Some are not hardcore tuners and don't know Sh!t just copying the movie and others are maybe actually ghey

As for the fugly bodykit, I'll be driving my car from the intercooler guy tot he bodykit guy this saturday, with no front, bumper, no headlights and un washed, don;t get any horribler than that, but sadly it has to be done if I want it to come out nice.

some people buy stuff, pile them up and do everything at one time, some buy and install, but and intsall. Yep the unpainted bodykit is probably becaus there is no mony left over to paint it, but he can stomach running around with an ugly ride for the time being, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't want it to get painted eventually, i'm sure he knows he's got one ####ing ugly car, i suppose he just consoles himself with "one day my car will look bad as..."

as for the wings, heck I'm getting one, but the the posts at the edges of the hatch not it the center like everyone else here is getting. and decals? they otherwise add some design to an other wise blank surface, done tastefully of course, christ there are people her with multi colored logos on thir cars, even the taxis have them.

Neon is simply attention grabbing at night, but good luck to you if can't backup your flashy ride once some one wants to race you.
