The side moulding strip on my door came halfway off on saturday, spent most of sunday cleaning off the strip, and probably will spend the week getting the adhesive of the door itself. Question I have is that I looked at the 3M strips they had at the local auto shop, and it won't stick worth a damn- anyone know of a good adhesive I could use?

The 3M stuff usually sticks like crazy to a clean-dry surface. I don't have any suggestions if that didn't work for ya, unless you wanna use JB. Good luck! :)

Is it still godawful cold back there? Most adhesives want 55° or more to work like they're supposed to. The original GE Silicone Seal is a remarkable adhesive if you get it onto the surfaces fast, straight from the tube, before it can skin over.
