will a 2g stock rear bumper fit on a 1g?

BUT I HAVE A NEO DRIFT FROUNT AND THE REAR I REALLY DONT LIKE IT MUCH. PLUS I WOULD HAVE TO GLASS IT ON! OK SO WHERE CAN I GET A REAR BUMPER THAT IS A DIRECT BOLT ON? NON OF THIS GLASSIN ON S**T.

well, like he said anything is possible with money, but the 2g is a more rounded car, unless you did it well it would look odd, if I were you I would take the rear bumper off, and start looking at doing some custom work(I once designed a body kit for an old 67 mustang, though I never got around to putting it on, just something to make it look a bit more modern) what I did was take paper, good ol print paper and started shaping it to what I wanted it to look like on the car, then I took thin aluminum cut to the shape of the paper to get a good base for the mold, then used fiberglass to make the mold itself, it sounds ghetto as all hell, but it actually looked good when finished, made it look like a mix between a classing stang and a 5.0 stang(except for the fact it was rough and need smoothing out) it is a lot of work, but shouldnt be nearly as extensive with just a back bumper, you'll be able to get away with it for 40 dollars or so if you mold the extra pieces onto the stock bumper, as long as you dont want something too radical(now people are gonna jump on my case about how dare you do that to a classic mustang, but damn it, it looked good, even my 55 year old neighbor and my g/f thought so)

ITS DEFINELTY POSSIBLE: My car was a 91 talon, i do love the pop-ups and back's but the pop's on my car were pissin me off, i changed the back too, i liked the bumpers better than the 91 so i changed the whole dam thing, here's a picture of the back too!
The work: you got to cut the supports out of a 92 and rip out
the old ones....a little cutting and welding. not fun! actually its a pain in the ass but at the end it came out good so it was worth it.
Your going to need fenders, hood, bumper, lights from a 92 , but it cost me next to nothing, found my color car w/a blown motor for $500 even got nice black leather seats out of it. and a hood and bumper and fender forom the junk yard cheap. Honestly i wouldn't do it again!
