I have grey interior, I ordered a grey full A-pillar replacement triple gauge pod from Autometer. Loooong story short I ended up with a black one. What should I use to paint/dye it? Does it need primered? Sanded?

Can I just use regular spray paint i.e. krylon grey?

I have the lotek in black in my '95 Talon with gray interior. I think it looks great, off-sets the other black pieces in the car. Gray looked kinda lame.
