hey,
i am going to buy a pnumatic paint gun from sears and i am going to try to paint my bumper and side skirts while they are off the car. but this is my first time...

what should i use for a primer?
how many coats of paint?
do i use a clear coat?
do i sand between coats?
what type of nozzle should i use?

No, if u still have oranage peel, wet sand and Buff out

Wherever you buy the paint from, they should be able to recommend the best primer for your situation. It's a good idea to wet sand before and after you prime, usually not necessary after base coat though...unless you have any runs or orange peel like mentioned. When you clear coat, do not allow to fully dry in between coats. You might want to look into mixing in some "flex" as well...which will make prevent the paint from chipping or cracking when dry on a flexible surface. Good luck, and don't expect it to come out perfect being your first time.
