if anyone needs back seats i have 2 sets one cloth from a 95 and one cloth from a 97 they are both grey they just have different patterens on them

So Im almost positive the bottom half does fit, perfectly.... Anything on the top! Also with the front seats does anyone know if the seat covers of the 3g fit onto 2g.... avoiding the whole bracket situation

BUMP!! i will have the answer WITH pics today. plus black carpet/rear panels if they fit or not. I have a black int 3g GT in a yard i just found.

bottom DOES fit. seatbelt clicker location is different but i think i can use the 3g clickers.

the unibody looks to be the SAME as a 2g under the plastics.

no 2g vert to test, but 3g vert looks very similar. I can try next time i find a 2g/3g combo

it appears seatbelts will work for the F&R (black in all 3g!)

rear hatch trim will NOT swap over. rear hatch BLACK tire cover WILL FIT

im gonna try to use the carpet. checking the seats. looks like 3g will need a riser for rear tabs.

EDIT: seats will fit, but the sliders are different widths. i will see if i can go back and swap a slider and test next time i go.


SO FAR YOU CAN USE [tested]

rear seats
black trunk release surround (looks like spyders swap over too)
black weatherstripping (need to transfer & glue front rubber add on 2g section)
black front & rear floor mats
seatbelts *SEE BELOW*

DOESNT FIT [tested]:

carpet (too tall on sides, MAYBE with cutting side down to fit but its slightly off proportion lengthwise)
A pillars
B pillars most likely from what I saw
*seatbelts* different retractor brackets, CAN USE if u swap the black belts though (involved)

Go for the Eclipse GT's. ALL 3g should be black trim/seatbelts. mayyybe a tan seat setup.


I picked up full black rear seats, F&R black seatbelts, black hatch release surround, black door weatherstripping, 12v rear 3g port w/harness, black rear tire well cover & 4 oem 3g black floormats that all fits the 2g.


Grand total: $95
