As soon as the weather warms up and this snow goes away im going to be repainting my eclipse. I was planning on buying 2 new fenders, a hood, and a front bumper and doing all the painting myself. My question is if there is a brand or type of paint that you guys would recommend that I use to paint a 1G? Thanks

yeha i know but hey theres always Du-Pont!!!

honestly the onyl i ve ever painted was my R/C car

Yea, I still say u do PGP and then pick your color, you will be paying a bit more but if u want it to last then pgp is ur company.

But if your looking to save Cash, Omni is a cheaper brand that offers every color too.

PPG!!1 My bad, I was playing paint ball last week and pgp is a side marker I use LOL, I dont think u wanna paint with that,

Sorry about that typo and slight mistake LOL.

Dupoint is horrible, Do not use that!

PPG is a subsidiary of Dupont right? I was thinking PPG anyway cause ive always been told that their the best and I dont really think that high gloss black is a special color.

hey mr dsm.. where in MD? im in motgomery county, this snow is visious isnt it?

You can't go wrong with any listed above. As a beginner, I have had good luck with DuPont Chromasystem. I'll post pictures soon--I am pleased with the results. I don't think you can find a more user-friendly system.

West of you in Garrett County MD. We got 50 inches and yes this snow sucks some major ass. 2-0 turbo hook me up with a good painting kit cause I sure could use one.
