Shaved door handles

ok i have to do a bunch of body work on my car so i have decide that im going to put in a shaved handle kit. I have helped people do them on their old hot rods that have really heavy doors and i was wondering if anyone has done it to their eclipse because i wandering how big of solenoids i need?

I don't see why a 10 or 15 pound wouldn't work. I had some 30 pound poppers on my ranger and it would throw the door oper with no spring in the door jam.

How do you know this? Your are not even installed.
