1G Pop-up Mod & ?'s

Hey,
I was wondering if any of you guys have done the modification where you remove the pop-up assembly from the 1G's and mount lights behind the clear lense like dsmMan from dsmtalk and others ive seen? if so I was wondering if you had any pictures or a how-to on how you did your modification to your pop-ups on your car. I have a 91 GSX and was
wondering how/where you mounted them and how you did it. Also, what kinda of paper/drill bit or any of that should I use to polish metal?

I know a easier way of doing that just simply remove the fuse under the hood for the pop-ups and the lights stay on but dont pop up i did this and it makes it loke like a 92-93 dsm

What kind of metal are you trying to polish? What sort of finish is on it right now.

to polish metal, use a wire brush on a dye wheel, then to make it look perfect, use polishing compound, or at least that's what i do.

Oh and I also would love to see some people with the headlights mounted and the clear popup cover to make them look almost GT style

Just pull the fuse from the fuse box on the left side of the bay (when you're looking at it). I believe its the second red in from the way left on the bottom row. But I will warn you, it cuts down on your visibility considerably. Just something to keep in mind.

Just pull the FUSE out. No pops up and No annoying buzzer sound.
