So I went to bypass my stock amp today with a scosche speaker level converter, and realized the stock amp is gone. So I matched up all the speaker wires correctly. My problem is the only way I can get the stereo to work is if I connect the yellow(memory) and red(power) wires from my stereo harness to the car's red stereo wire. I know this is not right. Am I missing a wire or what? Also the antenna is not plugged in because I need to buy a connector for it. Thanks for the help.

thanks, but I need to know what color the other wire is that the red wire goes to. I only saw one solid red wire in the stock harness so I figure that is the constant 12V. So where would the red wire off the stereo harness go?

thanks for all of the help guys. I fixed the problem by wiring the red wire straight to the cigar lighter fuse. Works great and sounds great. Thanks again.
