i own a all stock 2g eclipse non-turbo. well anyway...during the summer, it gets so hot and i cannot stand it. even the air conditioning is not enough. my car has that maroon color to it so it comes with the tan interior. so i was just wondering, is it the interior that makes the car so hot? is it the all black dashboard? do i need tinted windows? do i need to drive naked?

i dont know if im the only guy who has this problem, but suggestions would be helpful.

cali is lovely, at least until the heat comes in...LOL

When you park it put one of those reflective windsheild sun blockers up! Mine seems to get hot only when its parked out in the sun. So find a shady spot to park in when you're not driving.

Get your A/C serviced and make sure its running properly, Window tint does help, also if you dont have a sunroof get one.

Get some dark tints as people have stated here and if you want (just a crazy idea of mine), put some heat insulation inside the roof to keep the car cool and the heat out.
If not just go tints and use that reflective shield that jeff99gs mentioned.

Yea dude sun blockers , they have some nice ones that fold up like unbrellas at walmart for like 5-10 bucks :thumb:
