Interior Lighting

Hey, im loving my car, bought an Alpine Head unit a few months ago for it, but the stock lightning is driving me insane on my 2G Eclipse. Blue & Orange = So, ive heard it could be as simple as getting a magic marker and painting over the bulb.. but i dont wanna risk it.. any help on changing the color to blue?

i dunno about you but i think the interior lights are already dim as it is... i wouldn't wanna color over the bulbs. There are a few people here who have all out replaced all of the bulbs w/ blue LEDs. There is a thread or two in here. Do a search.

the LED thing is a PITA...i dont recommend it. just replace the bulbs with the blue "i hate to say it" but APC bulbs. get them at autozone in their import section...

Alright, thx. Ill have to tear the front apart this weekend and check it out. Not matching is the sux0r!

well that's only for your gauge cluster. your hvac will still be orange. they don't actually have replacement bulbs for them. i thought you wanted to change all your lights. whoops

PM boostineklipz , I think thats how you spell it, I believe he sells a Blue HVAC light kit.

Having a bit of trouble finding screws on the panel to locate the bulbs.. anyone know where they are? Only ones so far are the ones on the spedo..
