Rice Mod - Indiglo Gauges

I bought these indiglo gauges for my 95 gst, they don't look hard to install but how do I connect the power lighting for the indiglo?

if ya want them to come on/off with yer lights connect them to any dash light -- or cig lighter/ashtray light -- other wise any switch +12 source

I hooked mine up to my ashtray light b/c it goes on with all the other lights and is not hooked up to the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch is not good for indiglos when it is turned down.

i iwred mine to my dimmer switches so they dim when i turn down the rehostat

I hooked mine up to the power going into the dimmer switch.

hooked mine up to my boost gauge line that was already running to a source but they dont turn on and off with the lights so i think the source was hooked up wrong by the previous owner..

mine are hooked to my turn on when my car is on, but it has a dimmer switch.

mine are hooked to where a vfaq told me to splice for my boost gauge
so now its a 3 way splice

they arent dimmed by the dimmer switch

Note that the dimmer circuit in the 1G is stupid; rather than providing power referenced to 0V, it's referenced to 12V.

This means that something with a single "illumination" wire (eg. the Greddy P/H/W gauges) can't be hooked to the dimmer (because the other end of the bulbs is internally wired to ground).
