2Gb ebay projector halo headlights

I traded a set of blacked out 2Gb projector headlights that fit like crap for a set of ebay chrome projector halo headlights. I figured what the heck so I wired in the halos to the side marker lights. What a waste of time. The halos are only on when the lights witch is in the first position. That I don't mind. What I do mind is that they are practically impossible to see during the daylight and are only visible as being on when it after dusk. Right about the time when you want to have your headlights on. So after dusk, with the marker lights on, they look neat. As soon as you turn the headlights on, they disappear. Can't seem 'em anymore. Waste of time. They're ridiculous really. I was driving in front of a BMW with real halos and during the day they were bright as hell. Are there any headlights for our cars that have real halos?

My Halo's are pretty bright, I used to get pulled over for driving with my parking lights on during the day, but since now when my parking lights are on the halo's light up a white light too. aka "daytime lights". And they are bright enough during the day time, that I haven't got pulled over once for driving with my parking lights on since I put them in.
What do the one's you have look like?..

Ebay projector headlights are shitty. I know what you mean about them not being bright during the daylight. My car came with chrome projectors (ebay ones) but I took them right out since I didnt really like them and plus I had the black 97-99 stock ones

I have the ebay halos too (black) they look good, and fit good but the halos are pretty much useless. I'd much rather have stock 2gb.

I like mine. I didn't hook up the Halo's though; not my style. They fit well and were easy to install.

Also, they were cheaper than a new factory set.

there are 2 sets on ebay. the ones that use h1/h3 combo and the ones that use the stock bulbs.

the ones that use the stock bulb sizes are better, they are like OEM, they have leveler and easy plug and play. the one with the h1/h3 you have to wire up yourself. they don't look the same. i've installed both and havnt had problems with either, but the ones that use the stock bulbs and plug and play harness is better.

Some of the ebay projectors now use cold cathodes for their angel eye rings called "CCFL" Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp They have side by side comparisons of the light output, and the newer cold cathode technology angel rings are much brighter.

$45 just for shipping!!! I got my halo's for $90 shipped and the price is why I bought them. $220 is way too much just to have brighter rings IMO. But bmoha2 did ask if there are any headlights for our cars that have real halos. Well there's your answer.

black them out and forget about the halos. Didn't I read somewhere that a guy made his halos with leds? Now that would be cool. How exactly do I bake my headlights to open them up to black them out? What temp etc?

BMWs use an actual light bulb for their angel eyes, instead of 2 cheap-o LEDs.

Back when I used to have those halos, I put some brighter (non colored non LED) bulbs in there. It helped with the brightness, and didn't look like it belonged on a Honda. In then end, I ditched'em because it always bothered me that there was only 1 per side and I didn't want to put any more time into them.

For a while I had my halo's hooked up to the fog lights and I could could turn them on and off.
But you still need to at least have you parking lights on for it to work.
Anyway I wish I had a nice pair of OEM headlights instead.
The light out put on my projectors is garbage, compared to OEM headlights.

i use 2gb hedlights with hid look nice and never change for crap ebay projectors .
