I already have several performance mods done to my car, and am also working on improving my handling and cornering abilities. What I've noticed is that the stock 2g seat is made for a wide person. Therefore, an average sized person slides around when taking a corner at more that 20mph!! My 96 Bonneville has better seats for cornering, which is pretty sad. What I want to do is keep my car looking as stock as possible. Are there any aftermarket seats that can be made to look at least close to stock? I do not want a colorful seat that stands out.

I don't know off the top of my head but go to an online dealer that sells car seats and go through the different brands and types of seats. You probably need a seat with bigger boulster (sp?) to keep you from sliding around. A lot of aftermarket seats come in black or grey so you should be able to find something that looks nice in the car without going overboard.

On a side note, the 3g eclipse seats keep you glued. Obviously you'd have to fab up brackets, but I'm not if the actual seat would fit?

+1 on the Corbeau's. I've always wanted the CR-1's, especially the black/grey microsuede, very hot!
Corbeau: CR1

Dont quote me on this but I believe the 3g's are too wide, and the sliders are too long....

You're probably right... My Dad's girlfriend used to have the eclipse spyder gts with the sport package (not sure if it makes a difference with the seats) but when you would go around a tight corner you wouldn't move at all. Very comfortable and really kept you glued, I've always loved those seats.

I know you weren't looking for these but sireously try them before you purchase anything. I sat in a bucket racing seat more of a generic knockoff of a Bride Low Max and they are so comfortable. If someone you know has bucket seats try them.

Seat is flithy and a bit old but its just temp for now but you can get the idea.

It is so comfortable and has made my driving expirience better overall. If you are tall-er or larger in general it may be hard to get in and out of LOL but I'm small so it isn't a problem for me. Also they did invent quick release hubbed steering wheels for a reason!
