Does any body know if i can put an after market double din cd player in my 2g gst?

I was just wondering if it would fit.

thanks

Use the stock brackets if you have them. They are more stable and secure than any of those plastic crap out there.

With single dins a lot of us result with the plastic install kits because we don't want the gaping hole in the bottom din. But if you can find a standard din pocket and use the stock mounting brackets it is much better.

Anyone try the Chinese all-in-one units showing up on ebay? They are about half the price of comparable name-brand nav-sereos, but still they are up around $500. Not exactly chump change.

Looking at the Eonons, are ye?
I don't think you can find a radio that's not from China anymore. You're down to feature-shopping: tilt screens, GPS, and all the rest. Be aware that some are obviously meant for RHD cars and have the volume and such on the "wrong" side, but a 2G's close enough (god, why can't they do this with all radio installs?) that it's not much of an issue- and the radios all come with remotes anyway.

Once you get a radio that has an SD slot, you'll never carry another piece of extra crap in your car.

"Brand Names" are meaning less and less by the week. It's a car. You're going to lose half the setup's "fidelity" when you let out the clutch.

Remember TV is changing in a few months, so that may (or, not) be an issue.
