Can't decide which rims

Ok so I think my 96 spyder gs needs some new rims.

Looking for something cheap.

ASA AR1 Silver w/Machined Lip

or

ASA AR1 Black w/Mach Lip


or

ASA JH8 Silver w/Machined Lip

What do you guys think?

I'm not sure about the black. Since my car is dark red. I was hoping maybe a bronze but I can't find anything. I'm leaning toward either the white AR1s or the white JH8s.


Also.. I am really newbie at tires and rims. Really don't know how any of the measurements work. Will either of those tires fit on my car without modifications. I also not sure about my stock tire sizes.. but would I be able to put my tires on those rims and slap them on my car?

Wow those wheels would make your car look ricey. I myself say just save up to get some good wheels.

+1 Exactly what I was thinking.

The wheels look nice, and you can't beat that price . I personally don't think they look ricey. If you don't like the center caps you can take them out or put in mitsu logo wheel caps.

The rice factor is lowest on the JH8's. Go for those. Or check out Nate's Wheels on eBay. I bought my set with tires and it cost me less than $1000 shipped to my door. Can't beat that price. Here's the link: eBay Store: Search results for ADR rims.

300 bucks... put the tires from my car on those (if they fit?), and I am set. Maybe get them power coated eventually. I am not digging the black anymore. Don't feel it.

Out of the ones you provided, the JH8 looks best. Please dont get the pacers...those are hideous, I would take stock over them any day.
Alot of people said the black wheels with polished rim would look good, and thats true, but the black with chrome lip rims are soo overdone these days its not even cool anymore. I wouldnt do it.
Also, don't get 16's. IMO why would you bother to upgrade, if your not really going to upgrade. I'd rather have stock rims then have small aftermarket ones.

Agreed, get the 17's and a set of 225 or 235 rubbers. You wont be disappointed. Trust me

I think the ASA wheels look hot. I was just browsing the classifieds and saw tyger1's car for sale ad, and he has ASA wheels on his car and they look really good. His car has the chrome finish, I know you're looking at the black w/mach lip or the silver one's but at least this will give you an idea of how they'll look. Here's the picture:

exactly what i was thinking. they look sort of like the jh8's you were looking at but they would look sick with the dark red. i was gonna get some for my car but ended up havin no cash flow
