Your entitled to your opinion, But i have never heard anything negative about my car in person, Always complements.

But just so you know im looking at going to some black wheels, And a black talon style roof to complement the wingless look.

I was into the bodykit thing at one time. It's really a matter of opinion. I say express yourself. Now-a-days, i like to keep it simple and clean. But i have had the urge for the bodykit back in the gap. Check the classifieds. You'll see (X P/m me if you need one.

Like you need any help grabbing attention. I get followed by the cops at least once a week with my stock body GSX. Something about the dark red and high rise spoiler gets them. I drive normal majority of the time like your mother would and I still get followed.

I was sitting at a stop sign a few weeks ago in my little town and a cop passed me. I saw him cut down a side street after he gave me a distinctive stare as he passed. So me being smarter than his dumbass parked in some random persons driveway and shut the car off. He sat at the bottom of the hill looking up at me for a minute then decided to leave.

Just stay stock and stop trying to make your car look like the batmobile. Not many cars can look this good with a stock kit.

BTW that deep red wide bodied one if F'ing hot. I make an exception for that sexy beast.

body kits look nice on some cars. but i dont think they look good on dsm. I used to like body kits i never had one but wanted one but i didnt want one after my friend got one and what happend to it. The front bumper got alot of rock chips and cracks and after awhile it looked like ass, the side skirt was all busted up and like cracked and same for the rear bumper and on top of that they are expensive and even more when you gotta get it painted and not worth the money. 99% of the time they dont fit right and you got to mod it.

I like to keep it clean and stock look just with some nice wheels and lowering kit and with a nice paint job. I get my car buffed every 6 months and wax it every week and turns heads and it doesnt have a body kit and it does get the girls to look cause its soo shiny.

You need to do this with it.

You'll need a club to beat the trashy whores off the nerf bars.

That's the thing about my car that I love. There's so many POS around here that have mismatched fenders/bumpers that aren't anything but fart cans, it's become commonplace to associate bodykits with "All show and no go." I love when some jerk thinks that his pricey 3 series BMW is quicker then my car because it's "riced out", only to get a good look of the expression on his face in my rearview. In all honesty though, I was into the bodykit thing a while back and still am very partial to cars that have their body's done right. If I hadn't bought a car that didn't already have the kit on it, I would still want one, but just wouldn't ever find the time or money to have it put on because there's lots of other stuff I'd rather spend my money on. Regardless, I still think that my Fast N' Furious sides and rear look BADASS with the OEM 2gb bumper and get complimented on it all the time.

To the kid with the 19 inch ADR's. Be carfeul with ADR's. They do have good prices and very attractive styling they just arent the best wheel ever created. Me and a few friends have all owned them and they are proned to cracking and I am one to swerve all over the road to miss potholes and such.

Stay with a stock body, whether it be talon or eclipse. BUT if you MUST put a bodykit, spend the money once and get a urethane kit...

Well your topic says body kit or not!So I say not.I do say lower and then see how you like it.These cars really do get a new look when lowered.Next I also agree with spendind that money on some performance parts.I really like the look of a huge front mount on our cars!

If you're planning on putting power down in a DSM with a performance exhaust, cops are going to notice that more than the body kit. I say yes to a body kit only if you put alot of thought into doing it right. The look that you want, along with how it flows with your cars rims, hood, exhaust, ect. Make sure you think about how low the kit is going to drop the front and back of the car, and keep in mind the suspension you will be running. It would suck to put all that money and effort into a car and not be able to drive into your own driveway or a gas station.
