I own a 95 talon TSI AWD Automatic. I want to remove my factory gauges and replace them with individual aftermarket gauges. Will the car run without the factory gauge cluster. If not, what do i need to do to make it work. I am running DSM link, do I need a full stand alone? The reason i have this question is that i had a 91 acura integra automatic and if you unhooked the gauge cluster the car would not run properly.

It can be done, I've seen it before. I couldn't tell you the process though, sorry. :D

I drove my car around for 5 minutes without the gauge cluster in the dash. So yeah, it can be done.
