2G-specific Help me out Talon Owners!

I realize I am not a newbie but this sub-category was the best for my post. I have recently converted from a 95 tsi to a 2gb eclipse (bumpers, tail lights, etc.). Ive read the coversion tech article for the tail light rewire, and I do not want EDM style. I want my tail lights to work identically to the 2gb eclipse tail lights. (2 brake/signal bulbs) and 1 constant parking. The tech article is a rewire guide for only 1 signal bulb per lens. All of my bulbs / wiring works correctly, just need to know what I need / how to rewire for eclipse style. Im obviousely going to need a 1g harness to for the extra dual fillament socket

Any guys out there that have done this please help me out, need something to do while the local machine shop is building my fresh new motor!

I think the easiest way to do it is to go to the junk yard and buy the whole 2g harness. It's real easy to take off the tail but make sure you ge the male end of the plug not just the female and cut enough wire to do what you need to do. The color as follows. The male end plug has three wires Black(ground) Greywithblue(Flasher)GreenwithWhite(Brake/park) and I am sure that the talon came with 3 wires even though it has a two bulb system. This should get you started and hopefully done. Let me know if this has helped me out.

Getting the wiring from a junkyard will help the install but will do nothing for the underlying problem. The eclipse had a total different non interchangeable Japanese made flasher. The eclipse oem flasher combines the brake and turn signal wire by shutting off the brake light while the turn signal is on. Obviously with the separate turn signal the talon does not do this and has a domestic made flasher. The simple solution is to go to wall mart and by a trailer wiring converter. Its for hooking up trailers with one tail light to trucks with separate turn signals. Like 13 bucks and will combine the brake and turn signal outputs. When I first did my conversion I just got creative with how I wired the bulbs but had to buy the converter for my custom led setup.

I will give that a try, never thought of a converter but makes sense. Thanks guys for the input will post a response after testing things out!
