has anyone removed their lettering and/or emblems to their talon or eclipse... i want to remove mine, and it looks as if i can take a knife to it and chip it off, but im afraid that the glue under it will stay on my car and look crappy -
(im talking about on the sideskirts it says "16V DOHC TURBO" and on the rear it says "Eagle", "TSi")

any ideas?

what i did was take a blow dryer to it. the heat will loosen up the glue and the badges will come right off. after that there will be a bit of glue leftover on teh car, just take some Goo-Gone and rub it off. IMO this is the safest and easiest way of doing it.

PS u might have to scratch up the sticker a little bit(just on the corner a little) to get the heat to get to the glue better.hope this helps!

I used some fine fishing line to cut through mine. caused no harm to my paint, there was some glue left behind but I just scraped it off with my finger nail. the blow dryer meathod works too.
