Boost controller placement

I really want to put my boost controller where ClutchTSI/AWD put his turbo timer. I was just wondering what people did to achieve this (brackets, what to use to cut the whole) and anything else I might need to know?

use a dremmel to cut it -- take your time , make it fit tight -- ya can use epoxy/bondo to make a bead around the back to hold it there-- if you dont want to rig up some brackets

or you can use liquid plastic like i did to do my turbo timer, look at my gallery

Where do you get liquid plastic and is it hard to work with?

Can it be used in place of fiberglass?

its like fiberglass, i got mine at a plastic working shope in town, it works quite well its alot easier to use than fiber, look at my gallery

I used a Dremel to cut mine with..Then used Hot Glue around the outside in back.Mine is also Flushed mounted.Hasn't moved or fallen out since.There a pic in my gallery.I'll get better for you tommorow during the daytime.

TechT, I really like the way you did that. Did you take the whole thing out to make the cut mount it and put it back in? Or did you do everything with it on?
