Will a talon fender fit up on a eclipse? Isn't the side skirts different? Do the side skirts come off easy and attach to the new fender? Are the colors the same, black on eclipse same as black on talon? Thanks.

Basically I want to put a talon fender on my eclipse because that is all I can find. I know the talon has that vinyl sticker on the bottom.

all 90-91 and 92-94 parts are interchangable (aside from the obvious Talon taillights).
Diamond star made an effective production by making all body pieces essentially the same. I believe the only main difference (structural) between a 91 and 92 is a few mounting points for the front headlights. Aside from that, just cosmetics for the nonpopups.

The sideskirts are held on with 3M and a few pop rivvets (I believe, it's been a while since I disassembled one). Just be careful taking it off that you don't crack it
I take it you're referring to the popup (90-91)

I am referring to the pop-up style. I know the parts are interchangeable but I was more concerned with the vinyl coming off and the side skirts matching up to a different fender.

It fits just fine,I tore the bumper on my 92 Eclipse and put a 94 Talon front bumper on it.The 2 years difference gives the bumper a slightly more rounded look than the rest of the car but I like it.The rest of the car currently looks like hell but give it a few months...here's a pic.

I don't know what decal you are reffering to, but it should come off with a heat gun and some type of soft plastic scraper like a credit card or bondo spreader. The fade in the paint will most likely show where the sticker was. You may be able to buff it to help bring the fender back to life.

You also may have to drill a hole or two in the new fender to accept the new side skirt plastic clips. You use the clips and double sided tape to mount them. The side skirts should physically fit just like they did on the old fender.

V V V Thank you kittay, I see he was reffering to the "Blending" decal to the sideskirts.

^ I think he's referring to the snowflake pattern the Talons had.

What you can do as well is pop the hood on your car and check out the paint code. It should be X13. If the Talon is still hole, you can check the paint code on that as well and see if they match up. Then you'd know for sure if the colors do match :)
