Some of the Mitsubishi radios have a front AUX input, just like modern radios do.
Your best bet will be to buy a new radio with a front-input, a harness plug and a DIN pocket. Or, one with a plug, and an SD card slot:

That pretty much sums up your choices. I've tried those wireless RF transmitters, but I found you lose bass response with them. I use a headunit with a rear-mounted AUX-in. I routed a wire through the center console and to the ash tray (I don't smoke and it's the perfect size for an MP3 player). You could use that ipod thing that uses a radio station. No wires
A) You have a head unit with an auxilary input and a double sided male headphone jack to use with it.
I just installed a new Sanyo unit like this one, hooked up my ipod, and the sound is really quiet. I have the ipod turned up almost all the way, and the deck as well, but where I would play a CD at volume level 15-20, I have to have the volume level at 45 when playing the ipod to get the same level of sound.
Has anyone else has this problem?
