Hello, Is there somewhere on the DSM forum for posting aftermarket stereo install and trouble shooting questions? TP

As a new member, you can only post in the newbie forum, so you are limited to this forum. To answer your question, post it in the 'Appearance/Interior/Exterior' section.

There's not much to question. Any currently available DIN or half-DIN radio will fit perfectly, and adapter plugs for the harness are everywhere. The factory radio bracket has correct hole spacing for ISO mounts, the place where the screws mount to the radio chassis. If you use the DIN cage, you save a lot of time for the radio thieves.
Here's a bit about the installation:

I've asked for a stereo sub-forum, but the idea wasn't accepted.

Thanks, My install in done but I have some trouble shooting to do. I am getting a low level noise (buzz/hum) through the rear speakers. I have a 4 channel amp driving front and rear component speakers. This could be a wire routing issue or other noise generator. I was wondering if anyone made filters that could be put in-line with the speaker inputs on possible bead type filters that slide over the speaker wires to filter out noise.
I think a DSM after-market stereo forum would be great. Its still about adding 'high performance' to your DSM. TP

Thanks, I will check the ground. I always route the power on one side of the car and the RCAs on the other, just to keep them away from each other. I just can't understand why it is doing it only on the rear channel/speakers. TP

LOL, what Defiant said is like the best way to put it. Our stereo installs are like the easiest.

But yeah, if you have a buzz... I say replacing your RCA's with really high quality cables... make sure the amp is properly grounded, wires are cleanly installed, no half assing! The buzz usually means crapy RCA's, RCA's without shielding.
