I think I am going to go get a bowl of rice and an eggroll...

I was just saying... I mean, red backlights would be cool, but red face? Eh, to each his own I suppose.

EDIT: got grip, your car is beautiful

i just wanted red face guages, , and ive decided im just gonna put red bulb covers in the stock guage faces, for everyone else who was actually imputting on the thread topic thanks alot

You cant use LED's with our gauges without modifications to the gauges... there is a orange tint on one of the layers of the stock gauges... I tried! LOL... however, the HVAC gauges are a different story.

Not saying you can't at all... but I think you gotta sand the living hell out of the backside to sand off the orange film.

Actually, oddly enough, I've gotten some compliments on our stock "orange" guages. I always thought they looked like crap, but I've had multiple people sit in the passenger side and say "whoa, I like your orange guages."
Probably poor, tortured souls who've been inside a Pontiac at night. Welcome to hell.

It depends on the color, I have red leds and I can see them fine, besides a few little hotspots. If you went with blue or white leds, the orange tint may make a difference, but because of the frequency of red, the orange tint doesn't make a difference.

Red LEDs look really good, that would be a good route to take.

If you go with superbright LEDs, the color shouldn't matter. I replaced all of my interior lighting with blue LEDs and didn't have to worry about the orange tint. The only exception to that rule was the cigarette lighter bezel, which I just painted with black dye.
