they are pieces of crap. I recommend everyone staying away from them.
If you've heard of them and are thinking about getting them, don't.
If you haven't heard of them, then good.

I wasted $56 :notgood: on these bulbs, because i had heard some good things about them, and the seller on e-ghey had good feedback, so i said "why not". Turns out these stupid bulbs put out less light than 10 yr old 9006, straight out of normal, illinois bulbs.

If anyone else has had any experience with them, and actually like them, i would really like to hear from you.

I just received a set of these bulbs for highs and lows, installed them on one side to compare and I honestly couldn't tell a difference. I asked someone else which side was brighter, not knowing I even put the bulbs in, and they pointed to the stock side. I figured a claimed 70-116% increase would be subjectively noticeable but it wasn't. Their objective measurements with lightmeters may show this increase for them, but to be able to perceive this from behind the wheel is where it matters. Maybe it has something to do with our headlight housings that cause this. Apparently so many others noticed a difference. I can try and put one side in a different car and compare to see if they shine brighter. There's no point in others buying these bulbs for their dsm if there is something causing them to not live up to their claims. At this point I would have rather looked into a retrofit, or just stuck with the stockers.

There's a post on the DSMLink forums about HIR bulbs (not sure which manufacturer off the top of my head) & there are several guys that posted there was a noticeable improvement over there previous bulbs. One guy posted two pics compairing his silverstar bulbs vs the HIR's & the HIR's were defently brighter....
