Just bought Triple gauge pod on ebay and...

I just bought a triple gauge pillar from ebay, ive been loking it for some time now, and there were some tan colored available to match my interior color, but now i could only find them in black, so then i was thinking how hard it was going to be to find a tan calor that matches exatcly my interior.

When i recived the pillar i tested it and its perfect then i realized i like the black color better than the stock tan. Now i want my other (right) pillar black too It really looks nice i like it i was even thinking on painting all the tan inteior plastics of my car the same black color.

I know nothing about painting inteiors and i really dont want to mess my inteiror
any suggestions?

I personally really like the tan interior, but if you are going to paint it..
1. Wash the piece to be painted just to get the dirt off
2. Lightly sand it, or scuff it up a bit
3. Put a coat of primer, however, I didn't and it turned out fine
4. Use a paint of your choice, Krylon Fusion is good for plastics
5.Clear it

I can't remember where I got my tan pillar for my gauges but it was mroe expensive than the black. I love the tan interior but not the carpet, that's why I have some black carpet waiting to go in.

Tan pillars are rare. The thing with painting interior parts is that sooner or later it will crack/fade and your interior will start to look like shit. I personnaly don't recommend it.
