euro 1g headlights

I think those doors are actually shorter, to make them more aero dynamic for autobahn.
 
they do look a little shorter but look like there is a piece in front of them also. i still want them and if the little piece in front of them is seperate i want them too-how much you think it would be to ship a set over here?
 
Any other cool euro headlight stuff for the 1g's? Like 1gb projectors or something? :)
 
I would be totally down on a group buy as well I would love a set of those they would go good with my Amber corners hehe.
 
Just to make it clear:

I wasnt making a group buy/ sell attempt. I just stated that they are availble on junkyards here so ppl have a way of finding them.
I dont have the time or the energy to call around all the junkyards and try to gather up x numbers of these parts, not worth it.

If I eventually come across a set I will post it in classifieds as a regular ad, nothing else.
 
Hey Euro... seen anything different on the 1gb's from the US spec? And i'm not interested in a group buy, just wanting some info because i've never seen a euro 1gb.
 
i didnt start this thread to set anything up, i just want to find and buy a set. i like them i am horrible with any language except english so i cant read sites in other languages and i still want them.
 
(the black DSM on the link in the first post is my old EDM N/T. slow as hell...)

the whole headlight is different, because the EDM DSMs with these headlights, had something like "light distance control" or "light range control" to adjust the height of the headlights from inside the car (I just don't know the english word for it). the swap is not easy. you have to "customize" to get it fitted properly.
the next thing is, that only the 1993 EDM models (we had only the pop-up version here, like the 1990-91 us-spec; no facelift), had these "short" popups. EDM DSMs from 1990-92 had the same popups like the us-spec 1990-91 DSMs.

Do you know if snoopy painted his headlight "housing" and corner? It has like.. a clear whiteish to it, and the corners are all orange, not just one part. Also, what's with the fogs? Are they... glass?

having to -make- them fit is the least of my worries, i'm stripping it to a shell for the beyond needed and overdue paint job(fadded tealish and spray bomb metallic blue cant last forever). due to the fact im changing the color and the front end is red under the krylon touch anyway it has to go to pieces to cut everything in. i just have my mind set that i want those headlights(and a couple other things)and now is my time to do it so i can make everything match-for once

no it's all EDM.

here in germany, the amber corners are turning signal and the white housing (which is half transparent and has the blinker in it in the american version) is just parking light in europe.

Nice. I'd love to somehow get a pair. Do they make "OEM replacement" parts for you guys up there for these?
 
Well, if you ever come across a set in a junkyard try and get me it. I really want a set of the REAL european corners/front headlight thing.
 
if you are talking about the plastic pieces I can check how much they are..but it wont be tomorrow...Ill do it when I have time to spare..I am in the rebuild of my car right now so I am up to my neck in work.
