Question Custom Fiberglassing (Hood?)

I attempted to fix my broken ground effects on my Firebird using fiberglass resin and a cut up t-shirt. If it turns out good im going to do a custom fiber glass hood and some interior stuff. As for the hood, here is my idea...
Cut and weld the hood "hump" from another hood onto the other side of my hood giving it two symetrical humps, then put a vent in the front of each one. What do you all think?
 
I'm pretty sure it's been done. Maybe not the exact same method, but search around. I've read about dual hump hoods.
 
In my opionion i wouldnt really like the look of dual hood humps, but thats just me. There is a "how to" on cutting functional vents into your hood (and the result looks quite good) check the tech articles section out
