hey guys. i know that alot of you dont like aluminum wings on 1gens. but i am one of the few that does.. and i wondered if anyone else likes them.. adn if anyone could post pics of 1 gens with alum. wings

i like them... now dotn get me wrong im not talking about a 3 foot high wing i want something that is noticable but not god awful.. somehting like 5 or 6 inches high im talking about.. and i thinkthey look good on a 1 gen if its done right...

What's up Boost'n. I have a 1992 Eagle Talon and it is a dark maroon. I have an APR dual aluminum wing GTI. It is about 7 inches tall or so. It looks awesome. I drove the car all the way from Clevland to Miami 1300 miles there and back (2600 miles roundtrip) and I got nothing, but thumbs up smiles and accolades all the way. I even ran into some hard core tuner guys and they said it looked good and way better than they would have guessed and expected. I went to Stylin Concepts in Independence, Ohio and bought it off the Showroom floor. I test fitted it before applying it. It is mounted on the stock 1G wings on 92 Talons. It looks great. I love it and have a lot of fun with it all the time.
Where I live the look is RARE and not played out like in some areas of Florida or California etc. I have a dark colored car and I think it looks better on a dark colored DSM car than a light colored. It looks aggressive. Many times I have gotten compliments on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am glad you are daring and want one too. Sorry I don't have any pictures I don't have enough money for a digital camera right now. I will get pictures as soon as I can. Go for it and have fun for it my friend. I love mine and people can call it rice or whatever, but I like it I also have scoops on my roof too. I don't know if you can imagine it, but trust me it looks nice!!!

I don't know what style you are looking for, but go to www.ebaymotors.com and look in the parts/accessories category and look up aluminum wings. You should be able to get one for $70 which is cheap. Also I got mine installed at a local customizing shop for $30 and it is bolted on tight. It never rattles or shakes or vibrates. It is completely solid
