aftermarket steering wheel and cruise control

Just out of curiousity, is it possible to go with an aftermarket steering wheel and still keeping the cruise control feature on a 2g? I'm thinking about going for a smaller steering wheel and I'm just wondering if I can keep the cruise control option becasue it comes in handy sometimes when I'm taking a trip and hitting the highway! Thanks guys. Let me know any information/suggestions you guys have.

Wouldn't it be special if these companies banging us $200 for a wheel could add just a few cents' engineering and make that stuff retainable?

I can see why they might stay away from the cruise control but they could at least help you out with the horn contacts.
