anyone know the best way to get rid of water spots on windows?? what kind of products do they make to get rid of water spots and which ones work the best
thanks

I'm not sure how bad your windows are but using windex with newspaper might work? If not try that Tilex or Comet #*#*#*#* for shower doors

use ammonia (sp?) on them. it works great!

DON'T use it on the inside if you have tint of any sort. it will turn it purple.

Mothers chrome polish. You can pick it up at Wal-Mart for about $6. It says right on the bottle that it works great on glass. I had a crap load of hard water spots on my windows, and now there are none.

Get "Invisible Glass" it comes in a huge aresol can and can be purchased from AutoZone, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys, etc... They have ads for it in most all the popular inport magazines. I have been pro detailing cars for a popular local shop, and we swear by this stuff, use crumpled newspapers to remove product.

if the spots are caused from hard water (ie parking near the sprinklers) use this stuff called 'lime away' just make absolutley sure that you dont get it on your paint, it will disolve paint just like the water spots, it also works great on rims if you get water spots on them
