Need some help finding the door trigger wire for an alarm. Help would be awsome. Thanks a lot

Pull the carpet off near the door where the door pins are and tap into that wire. To find the door pins, open your door and wait for the buzzer and door light to come on. When you press the door pins, both will go away. (This is in a 2G, it should be the same in a 1G).

So I would amost be better off to attach it to the instument panel and get the doors and hatch in one? How hard would it be to get at that wire?

Also another question I just thaught of is I just recently started to shave my door handles and I thaught that the popper went in place of the "door pin" So how will this all work together?

Drill another hole.

Make sure you have another switch or backup to open your car if your battery dies.

Alright, still am wondering how hard it is to get at the wire in the instrument cluster
