Hey everyone! I just purchased a 97 Eclipse GST Spyder and was wondering who had some pictures of some gauge set-ups. Also, I really would like to put the gauges on the pillar instead of in other places such as the vents, or over the existing boost gauge etc, and was wondering if this was difficult. I am asking this, because a friend told me that he thought there was not a gauge bezel that fit the pillar, but I do not think this is true. Thanks for any help!

Searching this one WILL yield results. But since I have these, here you go:

http://www.gaugepods.com/mitsubishi.html

Scroll down til you see the spyder. It comes in 52mm 2 and 3 pod. They are a screw-in full A-pillar cover. No I don't have pics. But there are pics on here.

Anyone have pics of where they have hidden there TT, Boost Controller and Gauge's. Thinking of kind of hiding the gauges with putting a Boost and EGT gauge in the cluster pod and putting the Boost Controller and TT in the armrest but looking for some pics of what you guys have done first. Not gonna use the glovebox...thats for the PS2. With theft being a problem in AZ and having a conv. I wanna hide as much as I can...plus it's stealthy.

you could always mount them above the radio with a cover. theres pictures on here where someone covered the whole radio/hvac area with a big mitsu diamond on a smooth pice of metal

What about the ash tray next to the cupholder... thats probably big enough for either a TT or an EBC positioned vertically. Plus, it has that cover that you can put down over it.

take out your cigarette lighter and put a gauge there(i did) also, i have a single gauge pillar on my spyder...

take out your cigarette lighter and put a guage there(i did)...also, i have single gauge pillar on my spyder...got the turbo timer mounted under my aftermarket cd player...

aftermarket cd player, extend the lower din a little bit make a custom plate to hold 2-3 gauges. put the tt in the glove box or arm rest.

The website that Tyler recommended is the only place I've seen A-pillar gage pods offered for the Spyder so far. The only drawback is that you don't get the option to run 60mm gages. In order to do this, I had to use a hatchback style gage pod. It still fits rather well, but there's a small gap near the top that's barely noticeable. Just in case you were wondering.

Thanks Don, the gap wouldn't really be that big of a deal. What brand of bezel did you get, and where from? Also, if anyone has got any used bezels for the spyder for sale, let me know. I've only seen a couple in the classifieds section.
