I am having trouble fitting the blitz front bumper on my car. do you have to remove the real black bumper or will it fit behind the bumper?

i believe to make the blitz bumper work you have to have to eclipse headlights, and remove the factory bumper. maybe i am wrong, but i'm pretty sure that's why it's not fitting for you.

what one is it john?

Basically the same as an IRC Race core.

Ok. I can get it to fit with the black support brace off. When i took off the stock bumper the bolts on the side of the bumper where it bolts up to the fender snapped off because they were rusted would it be all right if i drilled a hole next to that in the fender and just made another hole in the bumper? Also i broke off the 4 plastic screws that go in the top of the middle air dam, are those needed for the aftermarket bumper?

Does the fornt bumper have the holes for them? If so I would say yes.

Can someone who installed their blitz front bumper theirself please help me out. I broke the 4 screws that go in top of the middle air dam that connect to the 5 mph bumper, are those actually needed to install the aftermarket blitz bumper? Also i have heard of lots of people just taking off the 5 mph bumper, should i do that or what? The brace that connects to the bottom of my stock bumper that is held on by like 8 screws wont fit on the blitz either. So i am just gonna take that off, is it a good idea? the only screws holding on the bumper will be on top and there are probable about 13, 5 in middle, 4 in fenders and 4 below headlights, that should be enough to hold on the blitz bumper shouldnt it?

I don't want the bottom to sag though so what should i do?
please help me

Man still F and F, my opinion, not flaming, but the blitz kit is very played out, that is why all of these ricers suddenly came out. For those that dont know, ricers are usually teens but even some adults that get an import, put a huge aluminum wing that will never see 150 mph, a body kit that is played out and those altezzas, euro, and clear tailights. I would just try to be original. Not flaming

Can someone please help with the problem and not comment about rice or not damn i dont care what you think so whatever.

TalonWHS wtf was that post for? Anyway, where did you buy the bumper from? I have both an FMIC and the blitz front end and retain my stock bumper reinforcement. If your kit fits well, it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe give me some more specifics as to what exactly it is catching on. You remove the lower plastic piece yes, attach the blitz front at the top 5 stock screw points and the 2 on each side near the fender.

Tom

It doesn't catch anywhere except for on the black bumper support and it won't fit in between the middle air dam and the place where the screws attach it to under the hood. It is urethane so maybe if i bend it alot it might fit but i am not for sure. can't you just trim the black bumper support a little?
