I have been fighting the urge to do a complete swap for all factory gauges to aftermarket. Ive found a few pics of people who have done this, but absolutely no info on it. Just wondering if anybody has any insight. Ive seen pics of 1g's with it done, but im working on a 2g.

Thanks

Its fairly easy. Only a few screws holding the cluster housing itself in. just be carefull and always remember to slide the new gauges overtop your old ones. NEVER EVER remove the needles to get the new gauges on. I have done a white conversion myself. If you look hard enough there are companies that make white faced that will light up solid indiglo colors and look 100% OEM when off.

Also when doing the gauges around the gas & oil & coolant temps,
be carefull not to let the new gauge face get hung on the needle
which will make it stop reading. very easy to do on the gas gauge.

I think he means the entire gauge with an aftermarket one. Like new tach, boost, temp, gas, speedometer, and oil pressure.
