I've searched and read most of the headunit posts, and none seemed to be able to help me. I took out the stock infinity headunit(equilizer), bought the adapter, wired it up correctly, grounded out the new headunit on the bracked(ecu ground), and I'm getting no power. I checked the fuses(ok), and started testing the power. I'm getting 12v through the red wire(switched power), but only .25V from yellow memory/batt wire at the stock harness? I listed everything I did, and the old infinity system worked before I did any of this. Any ideas on what I should check? Did I do something wrong by just unplugging the stock amp and wiring the harness up???

First of all you should have bought a wireing harness kit you can get them at best buy or tweeter or even autozone its so much easier to install head units with it. Now you have to bypass the stock amp. I don't know how to do it my self but if you take your car to a place like bestbuy or wherever you got the head unit they should be able to help you out with the amp bypass and if you wired something increctly.

he's right!...double check all your wires and i would recommend using heat shrink tubing instead of electrical tape. double check that ground wire. i had the same problem but, i bought a wire harness-found out it was my ground.

When I said I wired it, I meant that I bought the connector from bestbuy, checked the sony colors, and wired them up correctly. It might be the ground, but that still wouldn't change the .25V from the yellow memory/batt wire. I know bestbuy can do this for me, but I can't afford to pay someone to put it in for me, that's why I'm trying to find help.

Make sure that your wires are all lining up properly with the adapter, I have heard of them being wired wrong before...

Well, I checked the voltage at the stock harness, and the wire wasn't live there. Anyone have a wiring diagram to help me trace that 12v batt/mem wire?
