I have been working on my front and rear buympers the last two days. Now I am on the side skirts. My issues is I need to know how to get the current crappy side skirts that are on there off. Does anyone have a good walk through for this? Where do I unscrew them and where are the tricky parts. I have had a ton of broken body bolts on the front and rear bumpers. Will I see that again with the skirts? Anything you guys can help me with woudl be very helpful thanks all.:dsm:

On the 2ga it is fairly simple. You will find 3 bolts (well between 2-4) under the front fender well. Just turn your steering wheel all the way to the left (as if youre turning left) and you should be able to see them, the plastic fender dust guards may need to be removed, I cant remember. There are also some in the rear in the same place, although these are harder to get to because you cant turn the wheel out of the way so you will have to work around it, or just take it off with your lug wrech. That would be the best way to do it in my opinion. Also i dont think there are any, but you can open the door and pull the plastic brush guard that runs along the "railing" under the door on the sill of the frame, and there might be a few under there. I am not sure on the 2ga on that part but I know that I didnt have any there on mine so just something to check. Hope this helps out

Drop me a line. I will take offers on them. If not I will be posting the body parts in the classifieds section.

Sorry double post but if you are interested in either the front bumper or the side skirts from my 96 Eagle Talon please send me a PM or drop me a instant message on any of the chat programs out there. My info is in my profile

Well I wanted to post these on the classifieds section but I gots no rep BABY! Guys if you read this and can help me out please hook me up with a little rep so I can post these things. Thanks guys!

Completed this not too long ago.

1) Remove 5-7 (per skirt) phillips head sheet metal screws along the underside of the car, these fasten the skirts securely to the car from the underside.

2) Once the sheet metal screw have been removed from the underside of the skirt, unscrew the 10mm bolt holding the front fender cap to the front fender.

3) Last, carefully pull the front fender cap, door cap, and skirts as they are held in place with12-14 (per skirt) plastic clips and adhesive.

Good luck.

This is on my to do list within a month(99"eclipse sideskirts to my 97"talon).

I dont know if there is another easier way for me, i need to drill lot of holes (around 10 per side)for the sideskirt pins. 5~7 on the side and 5 at the botton.

So, if you are taking off. i would say the reverse way.
Remove the scrows from under the car, and the side one you will have to just pull the side skirt. After that, fill the holes on the body.
