I have a 95 eclipse gst, with the little wing on it. I want to become a wingless dsm. My car is in storage about an hour and 45 minutes away so I can't check this out for myself. When you take off the wing there are holes left over, am I correct? My friend currently did this to his civc and now he has 2 holes from where the spoiler screwed in. What do you use to cover the holes? I have heard of using bondo to cover the holes. Anything else? For the wingless dsmers, how did you cover the holes to make everything looks sleek with the car.

Well, you'll have a lot more than just two holes...I believe you'll have atleast 10. The right way to do it would be to weld them in, grind/sand them down, and then repaint the entire rear half of the car, but that also costs a isht load (atleast $500) unless you can do it yourself. So you decide if a "wingless" Eclipse is worth all the time and money....

You will have about 4-5 holes per each side piece, 2 holes on either side of the hatch, and ~1" hole in the center of the hatch. You will have to weld and fill each hole, grind it down and bondo/fiberglass what is left to make it smooth, and repaint both rear quarters and the hatch.

When I had my 97-99 turbo spoiler put on my 95 it cost me around $700 for all the work that needed to be done.
