Cripes, how much more of a con would you need?ShadowWulf said:BESIDES getting stuff stuck up there as a worst case scenario.....
Is there any Con to running without a cover?
XtremeGST said:why would you want a clear timing belt cover? Just go to your local hardware store buy sum primer and a nice colored glossy paint. problemed solve.. it looks nice!
My god it's like 2 10mm bolts...jasoncitrano said:yes exactly, i mean it was just a thought. My timing belt is in great condition, and i really don't want to take the cover off. but i'd also like to see it.
jasoncitrano said:thats not the point...i just wanted i didn't ask for any opinions just wanted to know if anybody has seen it.
kinda like venting atm. Personally I think the engine bay presents itself better without a cover, don't know why but just makes the motor look tougher. Kinda like all the "new age" motors with all the plastic covering everything. That just looks stupidCyberEye said:You realize that the picture you posted is NOT of a clear timing belt cover. It's the stock cover that's been hacked up so just the top and sides are left, allowing you to see through the front/back to see the cam gears.
HighPsi92GST said:its not cut at all. the top cover peice is just removed...

rowlex said:It is on there, and it is cut. Since when are timing belts shiny??
Look closer.
