Niagara,
I'm just looking toget some opinions on a hood. I can get either a VIS or extreme dimensions hood for a really good price, and I'm not sure which hood I want to get. Currently I have a 97 talon, and I'm doing a complete front end conversion, I'm getting the 97-99 eclipse headlights and bumper. My other concern is whether these companies make the 95-96 hoods, and the 97-99 hoods. The headlights are different so the fitis going to be alot different. They only list hoods for 95-99 eclipses, so if i didn't do the conversion, would i be stuck with a stupid gap or overlap due to the hood? I'm also interested in knowing some peoples opinions towards each hood, has anyone bought a VIS hood/E.D hood? Some pics of each would be appriciated. I have been told that the E.D hoods are a better fit, so I just thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks

I was also wondering about which type of CF hood to get when i upgrade mine. I was also looking at Seibon hoods too. Im just not sure which one is the better quality and fit like you. I basically know the prices of all the hoods because i just looked at all of them, and if the better hood IS the most expensive, that's fine. Just that i want to know about quality and fitment.

I have a VIS and I love it. It's strong, high quality all the way around. I hear the VIS hoods are actually strong enough to where you don't need hood pins, of course I wouldn't recommend that, but it just gives you perspective on the quality.

I Have Also Been Thinking Of Geting One And From What I Hear VIS Is The Best, But Everyone Has There Opinions

I like what you did with that front. I've never seen it done before:thumb:

Hehe thanks for the comments. You wont see one like it cause its a "one off" part I guess you could say. That eclipse looks bad ass, but he should have boxed in the cut out part to make it look like it was made from the factory.

Hey thanks for clearing that up for me, I was told that when you do the front end conversion (95-96 to 97-99 eclipse) that you needed a different style hood. I know that you need the 97-99 bumper becasue the lights are differnt. Apparently my resources were faulty, so thanks for clearing that up.
